Future Plans: Orphanage & School

Talebert Child Care Uganda is committed to expanding its reach and improving the quality of life for orphaned, vulnerable, and street-connected children across Uganda.

Whenever possible, children thrive best within loving families. Our goal is to strengthen families and safely reunite children with relatives whenever it is in the child's best interests. For children who cannot immediately return home, we provide a safe, nurturing environment where they receive care, education, guidance, and emotional support while long-term solutions are developed.

One of our Five-Year Goals is to establish a safe and well-equipped children's care centre — an orphanage together with a school — so that this care and education can be offered on a permanent, dedicated home of its own.

Help us build it

We dream of a Uganda where no child sleeps on the streets, no child is denied an education because of poverty, and every vulnerable child grows up surrounded by love, protection, dignity, and opportunity.

Our Five-Year Goals (2026–2031)

  • Rescue and support more orphaned and vulnerable children.
  • Expand educational sponsorship opportunities.
  • Strengthen child protection and safeguarding systems.
  • Establish a safe and well-equipped children’s care centre.
  • Increase vocational and life-skills training for older children.
  • Improve nutrition and healthcare services.
  • Expand family strengthening and reintegration programs.
  • Build partnerships with churches, organizations, and sponsors around the world.
